The grounds of Fern Resort are absolutely stunning. Beautiful, natural haven just a 10-minute drive from the town center. The infinity pool overlooking the rural fields creates a fantastic atmosphere. I loved splashing around in the mountain stream right next to the resort. The lush gardens and rice paddies provide a peaceful ambiance. Rooms are simple but comfortable, with a cozy sitting area. Staff are welcoming and accommodating. A walking trail leads directly to the national park, allowing for easy exploration. On the downside, there was no fridge in our room, and the toiletries provided were subpar. Perfect vibes, but a few small tweaks could elevate the experience.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Fern Resort Mae Hong Son. The views from the infinity pool overlooking the lush rice paddies were breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere, enhanced by surrounding vegetation, made for a serene retreat....  

Sitting amongst rice paddies with separate huts, the resort offers a great setting for those wishing to be enveloped by nature. Hiking through the jungle and streams provided a memorable adventure.

Rooms need a bit of work—showers could use some upgrading, doors struggle to close, and there are maintenance issues like poorly affixed toilet seats and cracked grout.

Really enjoyed my stay at Fern Resort! The gardens and pool were stunning, making it a perfect spot to unwind. Staff were super nice and helpful, too! Just wish the shower in our suite was a bit better. Overall, a great place to escape to!

Some issues included low water pressure in the shower and an insect problem with the extra mattress provided, which was less than ideal. It was just a reliable pick for a holiday in Mae Hong Son with fantastic value for money. The bathroom had ample space, which was a nice surprise. Try to catch the stunning sunset views from the infinity pool.
