Fern Resort Mae Hong Son

The grounds of Fern Resort are fine. Beautiful, natural haven just a 10-minute drive from the town center. The infinity pool overlooking the rural fields creates a fantastic atmosphere. I loved splashing around in the mountain stream right next to the resort. The lush gardens and rice paddies provide a peaceful ambiance. Rooms are simple but comfortable, with a cozy sitting area. Staff are cute and accommodating. A walking trail leads directly to the national park, great for easy exploration. On the downside, there was no fridge in our room, and the toiletries provided were subpar. Perfect vibes, but a few small tweaks could elevate the experience.

We had a fantastic stay during our Thailand road trip.

Its location was stunning, adjacent to the most beautiful nature, the restaurant at the swimmingpool and tropical gardens with waterfall. Furthermore, in the forest.

The views from the infinity pool overlooking the lush rice paddies were amazing, and the peaceful atmosphere, improved with surrounding vegetation. The hiking trail leading to the national park was an adventure...  

Was an ideal place for trip. My 2 nights in Mae Hong Son were peaceful! The location was beautiful and unbeatable and the free parking was nearby. Plus it was in a resort area. The staff were happy to help, everyone was diligent...  

very friendly staff, and they have friendly dogs that serve as tour guide during 2-4 hour hikes to beautiful waterfalls

Sitting amongst rice paddies with separate huts, the resort offers a great setting for those wishing to be enveloped by nature. Hiking through the jungle and streams provided a nice adventure.

Rooms need a bit of work-showers could use some upgrading, doors struggle to close, and there are maintenance issues like poorly affixed toilet seats and cracked grout.

Booked this for our trip and it met what was needed. Fascinating hotel, stunning and incredible location, we booked the deluxe room and loved it.

The gardens and pool were fine. Staff were super nice and helpful, too! Just wish the shower in our suite was a bit better.

Fern resort offers a serene nature setting with lush grounds and fine mountain views. The staff were fantastic, especially when they promptly sent my gown back to me. I also loved taking a dip in the outdoor pool surrounded by greenery....  

Unique homemade soaps in the suite added a personal touch, while the friendly staff made dining good, especially with options like grilled dishes. Some issues included low water pressure in the shower and an insect problem with the extra mattress provided, less than ideal. The location, while serene, meant a bit of a trek to town, and a lack of fridge in the room affected convenience.
